ACES Mobility Welcomes New Board, Advisory, and Academic Coalition Members

Washington, D.C. (April 23, 2024) — The Automated. Connected. Electric. Shared. (ACES) Mobility Coalition is excited to announce four new members that will join its cooperative effort across the transportation sector dedicated to accelerating the full integration of automated, connected, electric and shared-use vehicles in mobility networks across the United States.


Joining the coalition as board members are Shreveport Transit Management (SporTran) and Miller Electric:

  • SporTran spearheads initiatives aimed at revolutionizing the electric vehicle and autonomous vehicle realms with a commitment to climate sustainability and efficiency. Dinero Washington, CEO, will represent SporTran.

  • Miller Electric shapes the landscape of electric vehicles through its developments in electric propulsion systems, battery technology and charging infrastructure. With a commitment to revolutionizing mobility, Miller Electric extends its expertise in electric powertrain and automation technologies to the autonomous vehicle realm. Kerri Stewart, CSO and president, will represent Miller Electric.


The coalition will gain an advisory member through the Partners for Automated Vehicle Education (PAVE). PAVE is a diverse coalition of industry partners and nonprofit groups that aims to raise public awareness of the present state of autonomous vehicle innovation, focusing on achieving the future benefits of driverless technology. Tara Andringa, executive director, will represent PAVE.


Lastly, the coalition welcomes the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) as an academic member. TTI is a research institute leveraging innovative technologies and multidisciplinary expertise to enhance transportation safety, efficiency and accessibility. TTI is the second academic institution to join the ACES Mobility Coalition. Katie Turnbull, Joe Zietsman, and Greg Winfree will represent TTI.
