The ACES Mobility Coalition was proud to serve as a partner and Gold Sponsor of this year’s Florida Automated Vehicles (FAV) Summit, held November 5–7 in Orlando. Throughout the week, we helped bridge the gap between public agencies and private innovators, advancing the conversation on shared autonomous mobility and highlighting solutions that make communities safer, smarter, and more connected.
On Wednesday evening, ACES joined Holland & Knight to host the official VIP reception at the Omni Hotel’s Eagles Edge driving range — bringing together agency leaders, innovators, and policymakers shaping the next phase of shared, connected, and autonomous mobility. This special networking event gave members and attendees the chance to collaborate, exchange ideas, and even take a few swings at the golf bays overlooking the course.
Throughout the week, ACES members took center stage across panels and technology demonstrations, helping to lead the national dialogue on the real-world deployment of shared autonomous mobility.

On Thursday, November 6, the Coalition curated and moderated two major sessions:
Shared Autonomous Mobility in Action — moderated by Scott Belcher (ACES Mobility Coalition) and featuring Frank Martz (City of Altamonte Springs),Thomas Johnson-Kaiser (Minnesota DOT), Jacques Coulon (City of Orlando),and William Frazer (Jacksonville Transportation Authority), exploring how shared autonomous mobility is being deployed today across first-and last-mile transit, medical campuses, mixed-use urban parks and plazas, 55-plus communities, and even national parks.
ACES Technology in Action — moderated by Jim Katsafanas (Michael Baker International) with panelists Dr. Ali Peker (ADASTEC), Toby McGraw (Beep), and Harald Braun (Guident), highlighting the diversity of technologies and business models driving real-world deployments across the shared mobility ecosystem.
