🚍 First-of-its-Kind in the United States

On August 22, ADASTEC and Michigan State University launched the first SAE Level-4 automated bus deployment of its kind in the U.S. The automated bus operates along a 5.12-mile route through central campus, providing free, accessible, and sustainable mobility for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the surrounding community.
The bus meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, making it the first SAE Level-4 automated bus with these certifications to carry passengers in the U.S. Now accepting passengers!
🇸🇪 First Automated Bus in Gothenburg, Sweden

On September 18, the Karsan Autonomous e-ATAK, automated by ADASTEC, began passenger service between Gothenburg Central Station and Liseberg Station. The 4-kilometer route includes seven stops and operates on open public roads, bringing advanced automated mobility into daily public transport for both residents and visitors.
This launch marks its first automated bus service in Gothenburg. Now accepting passengers!
🤝 Strategic Alliance with Beep, Inc.

ADASTEC and Beep, Inc. have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate scalable shared automated transportation. Combining ADASTEC’s technology leadership with Beep’s operational excellence, the collaboration will expand deployments across a wide range of use cases and geographies.
The first joint deployments are in Georgia and Florida and will set a new benchmark for the industry.
🇨🇭 First Full-Size Automated Bus in Switzerland

This autumn, ADASTEC and Karsan launched Switzerland’s first full-size automated bus operating on public roads in Arbon. The Karsan Autonomous e-ATAK, automated by ADASTEC, serves a 2.5-kilometer route with nine stops, connecting key locations such as the lakeside, train station, Arbon Castle, the public swimming area, and city hall.
In addition to the main route, five alternative routes have been mapped, and the service follows defined seasonal schedules with dedicated summer and winter timetables. Now accepting passengers!
