Washington, D.C. – January 16, 2025 – The ACES Mobility Coalition proudly announces the addition of five new members to its ranks, three of which have joined as board members. These organizations and their representatives bring a wealth of expertise, leadership, and innovation to the coalition as it continues to advance the future of autonomous transportation and shared mobility.
The newly appointed members include leaders from public, private and nonprofit sectors, as well as academia, underscoring our commitment to fostering collaboration across industries to deliver accessible, connected, equitable, and sustainable mobility solutions.
“We are thrilled to end the year with the addition of five new members who offer so much to the future of shared autonomous mobility,” said ACES Mobility Coalition’s Executive Director, Scott Belcher. “Since our launch a little over a year, we have grown to over 30 members who each bring a unique perspective and set of skills, enriching our collective knowledge and enhancing our ability to innovate and drive progress. We look forward to the exciting opportunities and collaborations that lie ahead as we continue to grow and evolve together," he added.

Public Sector Board Member:
Anaheim Transportation Network – Diana Kotler, CEO
The Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN) is a public transportation agency serving Anaheim, California, with a mission to provide convenient and sustainable travel options for both residents and visitors. Operating 19 flexible bus routes and over 70 stops across Anaheim and Orange County, ATN plays a vital role in connecting neighborhoods and employment centers in the greater Anaheim area to Amtrak, Metrolink, and regional public transit routes.
ATN is on track to become California’s first all-electric bus fleet, recently signing a 20-year Charging-as-a-Service agreement with AMPLY Power to manage solar-charging infrastructure for its 46 electric buses.
Diana Kotler has been at the helm of ATN for nearly 22 years, leveraging her extensive expertise in budgeting, urban planning, and zero-emission infrastructure deployment. Prior to ATN, Kotler served as Principal Planner for the City of Anaheim for a decade.
Private Sector Board Members:
Benteler Mobility – Tobias Liebelt, CEO
Benteler Mobility is a global leader in the development, production, and distribution of cutting-edge solutions for the automotive and mobility sectors. Tobias Liebelt, CEO of Benteler Mobility, brings extensive expertise in supply chain management and production. He has also held various leadership roles within the Benteler Group focusing on global operations and strategic growth.
May Mobility – Daisy Wall, Senior Director of Government Business

May Mobility currently operates its on-demand autonomous services on public roads in 10 cities across the U.S. and Japan and continues to advance innovation in autonomous mobility while providing urban, suburban and rural communities greater access to public transit jobs, education, healthcare and other essential locations.
Wall brings extensive experience and leadership in transit sector government affairs, sales and marketing, technology deployments, and community engagement. Previously Head of Market Expansion at Uber Transit, Wall has also served on the Boards of the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association (AVIA) and the Georgia Transit Association.
Academic Member:
University of California at Irvine (UC Irvine) – Sarah L. Catz, UC Irvine Lecturer and Researcher in the Institute of Transportation Studies
Ranked among the nation’s top public universities, the University of California at Irvine (UC Irvine) is a hub for research and innovation, particularly in zero-emission and autonomous vehicle technologies. Through its Horiba Institute for Mobility and Connectivity (HIMaC), UC Irvine drives groundbreaking research in connectivity, electrification, and autonomous mobility, shaping the future of transportation.
Sarah L. Catz, UC Irvine Lecturer and Researcher in the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Irvine, brings extensive experience in transportation policy and mobility research. Before working for UC Irvine, Sarah spent 10 years on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Transportation Authority and served as the Chairman of the Board.

Feonix – Mobility Rising – Valerie Lefler, Founder and Executive Director
Feonix – Mobility Rising is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating equitable mobility solutions by addressing gaps in transportation systems. With initiatives such as volunteer driver programs, micro-transit services, and partnerships with local providers, Feonix works to improve accessibility and social support systems for underserved communities.
Valerie Lefler, Founder and Executive Director of Feonix, brings a holistic approach to mobility equity, ensuring that transportation systems meet the diverse needs of all communities. Since establishing Feonix in 2018, Valerie has led the organization to launch impactful programs in ten states, collaborating with renowned entities like the National Institutes of Health, National Aging and Disability Transportation Center, Easterseals, Ford Philanthropy, AARP Office of Driver Safety, Toyota North America, Centene Corporation, and the Michigan Department of Transportation.
